This painting was done under a direct assault from my kids! Summer will be about painting quickly I am afraid!

My first blog

Today is my first ever blog and I am sure noone else will ever read these! I am a follower of the Daily Painting movement started by Duane Keisler. It is a wonderful concept and has already improved my work. I have always painted very large and so the smaller paintings of 8 x 8 and 6 x 6 have been difficult but fun. I also jsut started painting on board instead of canvas and while I love it, I am not great at it yet. Give me time!
